Been spending a lot of time using Google Sketchup. Been spending a lot of time with my Motorola Droid. I’ve recently rooted the Droid and began some customizing of the overall look of the devices desktop. To marry the two hobbies I decided to make some of my own custom icons. I only have about half of what I need so far, and these are rather plain. I will be starting the more application specific ones soon. But until then here are a couple of previews.
These will be made into higher resolution PNG files for use with Android OS and Launcher Pro. There will be about 30 icons once my personal set is done. But I’m sure I will get excited and make a lot more that correspond to specific applications. Let me know what you think. Tell me some of your favorite android apps, they just might get an icon.

I’ve been waiting for something like this! Yet still to large, clunky, and pricey for myself. We will have to see what comes next…
Welcome to Dr. Von Geeken-stien’s Lab. This will be home to many of my hobby projects as well as some hacks that I found useful for many of my devices.
Some of my hobbies include taking things apart and customizing them to suit my needs. Mostly just customizing the look of things. Another is graphic design, I enjoy drawing, using adobe products, and well doing most things creative.
I hope you will enjoy the things I post as much as I enjoyed doing the things that I do.
Here is a preview of one of my first customization projects. The Palm m105. I will post how I customized this device in the near future.
